The beginning of the story could be mine. The ending is not. My ex-husband and I did not weather that storm.
We both had deeper healing to do apart before we could find our own paths again. But I do not view this as failure. I spoke up about my inner voice, and knew he couldn’t come along. We parted, and my deepening into life has continued with him as a long-distance sometimes friend. The real success in your story from my perspective is your courage to express your authentic voice. When you do think of a happily married couple you are familiar with, what do you notice. How do they treat one another. How do they behave.
Happily married couples tend to have many more positive interactions with one another. You may see them talk positively to their partner through compliments. They may offer one another support. They may appear to be more physically affectionate. They also are likely to work together better.
The fact that hes asked you to marry him, after only three months, and still lives with his wife and son is perhaps the biggest red flag of all. Lets say he actually proposed, ring and all (because if he didnt, hes only telling you what he thinks will make you stay with him). After being in such an unhappy marriage for so long, you must seem like a ray of sunshine and hes attaching his happiness to you.
While Im sure that feels awesome, in the long run his existing problems will surface and what then. This situation is also extremely unfair to you. When you dreamed of getting engaged, was it to a Married man. If he were a gentleman, and considered your feelings, he wouldn’t put you in this position.

Rick Roitinger and Claudia Rosa are two lonely people who take adjacent benches in a city park week after week, and never quite connect in ‘Love Birds,’ sympathetically directed by Carol Eggers.

Philip Roth wrote that hearing Jesus had been Jewish left him about as cold as hearing Cary Grant had been Jewish: neither seemed believable enough to matter. Roth didn’t elaborate, but I have a feeling he was reacting to the visual evidence; Jesus rarely stares out from pictures with the features of, say, Adam Sandler, Larry Fine, or for that matter, Philip Roth. That’s okay by me.

You say you’re unhappy, please; you’re the one thats making your home a living hell and your wife unhappy because of your selfishness. You’re an over-indulgent, narcissistic, self-serving, misogynist who wants to have his way or no way. You Married you wife but don’t know why.
I’m sure you do know why; but you don’t want to face the real answers because that would put you in a bad light; so you come here and play the victim. Before you Married what happened. Were you in jeopardy of losing her and the only way to keep her was to marry her. Maybe thats the reason why you got Married. Then after marriage you figured you could mess around on your wife because unlike you shes in love and committed to the relationship. I think the only reason why youre annoyed is because youre restless with having the same flavor every night and you grave variety. The fact that you went to a therapist and had sex with her tells a lot about your lack of moral standards, control, and your need for immediate gratification and damn with everybody and everything else. Leave her… I hope your wife leaves your sorry behind first because she’s the one who has been misled and deceived by you.

As you can see, the advertisement above implies the fact that not only are fat women scary but that as a guy you have the right to cheat on your wife or girlfriend if she’s overweight. While this ad has most likely resonated well with the its target audience (that being men who are Unhappily Married), there are a lot of people who are quite unhappy with this, including the woman who is in the advertisement. Apparently she had never meant for her photo to be used in such a way.

‘Those who do not believe in Allah nor in the Akhirah, and do not accept the true faith must not be taken as friends. If someone deviates from this rule and believes in his own way, it will amount to not believing at all. Just as the People of the Book believed in Allah and the Akhirah, but attributed progeny to Him. The Jews claimed that Prophet ‘Uzair AS was Allah’s son while the Christians believed the same for Prophet ‘Isa AS. They made such a preposterous statement without any evidence. May Allah destroy them for their insistence upon such blasphemy. Every nation in its own way holds some image of Allah, which cannot be accepted as a proof of believing in Him. Therefore, Jihad will be undertaken against such people unless they pay Jizyah, a tax which the Muslim ruler levies at his discretion in return for the non believers’ safety in the Islamic State. Since Jizyah replaces the death penalty for disbelief, its payment will absolve the payer from capital punishment’ The People of the Book were also guilty of taking their religious leaders as God, in the sense that they gave greater weightage to their words even if they contradicted the Divine Commandments and practised accordingly, as if they had accepted their leaders as their Rabb. The Christians formally worshipped Prophet ‘Isa, which was a ridiculous thing to do because he himself had taught people to worship Allah Alone. The fact is that no one save Allah deserves to be worshipped, He being the Most Exalted and the Most Magnificent’ Indeed Allah is the Being Who raised the Holy Prophet SAW with guidance and the true faith to ensure its sway over all ungodly religions, no matter how bad the polytheists may feel’ This Ayah serves not only as a harbinger to the dominance of Islam but also claims that Islam has come only to prevail and remain dominant in the world. The reason for this is that the Holy Prophet SAW has presented the best solutions for every problem of human life. He has taught the best possible way of executing its affairs, whether political, fiscal, moral or mutual, in complete harmony with the human temperaments. And all this has been declared as the true Din’ o conduct one’s affairs in the light of the truth is Din and this practical aspect of Islam is indeed the reason for its prevalence’Therefore, every sentient person will accept this true faith and it shall prevail over the other religions of the world. History bears witness to the victory of Islam over the ungodly religions and its complete sway over the globe’ Even today, if we resolve to subordinate our practical lives to Islam, it is Allah’s Promise to bless the Muslims with dominance over the entire world.’.
